Choose this option for registering a small or a medium-sized farm within the chosen region. These include urban farms and even backyard gardens growing food for sale in their neighbourhoods. The criteria for registration is the avoidance of chemical inputs (herbicides, pesticides, insecticided, fungicides, fertilizers...) as well as genetically modified seeds. However, your farm does not need to be certified (e.g. organic, biodynamic, ...). Inclusion of farms employing a mixed annual/perrenial polyculture system such as agroforestry or permaculture is especially welcome.
This option is for registering a farming or food organization that works within the chosen region. These include non-profits, NGOs, community groups, educational institutions, private as well as governmental organizations. The organization's line of work may encompass one or more of the following areas:
The platform is open and free for the general public. Once the forum and messaging functionality are implemented, people will need to register and login to engage in forums or send messages. If you have a farm or project to contribute to 'What is Possible' education section page and if your farm is outside the availabe region(s), then you can register as a general user in order to include your farm or project in the 'What is Possible' map.
At this time, only farms and organizations located in South Coast region of British Columbia, Canada can register. Once you sign up, you are taken automatically to the profile creation form. You can complete your profile right away or save it and complete it at a later time.
