Responsibilities: Assist in all aspects of farm management, including planting, cultivating, harvesting, and crop rotation. Supervise and train farm laborers and seasonal workers. Monitor and maintain the health of crops, including pest and disease management. Help with irrigation systems and ensure proper water management. Assist in equipment maintenance and repairs. Participate in planning crop schedules and planting calendars. Ensure compliance with organic farming standards and sustainability practices. Collaborate with the Farm Manager to develop and implement farm policies and procedures. Engage with the local community through educational programs, farm tours, and events. Contribute to the marketing and sales of farm products, including farmers markets and CSA programs. Maintain accurate records of farm activities, expenses, and yields. Work Days/Hours: ● Tuesday-Saturday ● 40h/week with the likely possibility of 45-50h/week during peak season (July, August, September) ● Start times vary from 7:00-9:00AM depending on daylight and anticipated temperatures/weather
